Family birthday prints

The gift for the person who has everything.

Your family's birthdays, drawn as one ring of colour — each person painted by their own day, connected to the people they love. A gift that gets hung, not shelved.

The collection

Our most popular posters.

Every poster is drawn from your family's own dates, in whichever look fits your home. Prints from $45 — framed from $80.

“The first Kinring was a birthday gift for my grandmother. She kept it standing by her chair where she could see it every day.”

Marius · Founder of Kinring

The idea

From across the room, it's art. Up close, it's your family.

The ring is a calendar of the year. Each person sits on their birthday and takes the colour of that exact day — so your family's dates paint the poster, and no two families ever get the same one.

Curved lines join partners and link parents to children, meeting in the middle where everyone's colours blend. It's a map of who belongs to whom — and the story you get to tell when someone asks about it.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

How does it work?

You answer a few friendly questions about your family — names and birthdays — then choose a look and a size. We print your poster to order and ship it to your door.

What do you need from me?

Just first names and birthdays. The day and month are all that’s required; the birth year is optional and never shown on the poster unless you want it there.

Which sizes and frames can I choose?

Every poster comes as a 30×30 or 50×50 cm print on museum-quality matte paper — framed in black, white or oak, on a magnetic wooden hanger, or unframed if you’d rather use your own.

What’s the print quality?

Museum-quality uncoated matte paper — heavyweight 250 gsm, acid-free, rendered at 300 DPI so every line and colour stays crisp at full size.

Can I change the colours and layout?

Yes. Pick a crisp colour wheel or a soft watercolour, tune the palette, the ground and the lines, add a heading — the poster repaints live as you go.

How long does delivery take?

Each poster is printed to order and dispatched within a few working days; total delivery time then depends on where in the world you are.

Do I need an account, and is my family’s data private?

No account needed. Your family details stay in your own browser while you design — we only ever use them to print the poster you order.
