An optional yearly add-on to your poster. Every birthday you put on the ring becomes a quiet email that reaches you 3 days before the day — enough notice to actually do something about it.

It’s the same list of people, doing a second job. You already told us who matters and when they were born to make the print; this simply keeps that list working for you all year.

$15 a year, billed annually alongside your poster, and you can cancel any time. The exact price and currency are shown at checkout before you agree to anything — that figure is always the authoritative one.

Not at the moment. Reminders are offered as an add-on while you’re buying a print, because they’re built from the family you just designed onto the ring.

3 days before each birthday, sent early in the morning European time. If two people share a date — twins, or a coincidence — you get one email listing both, not two separate ones.

A second, earlier heads-up. About 30 days before someone turns 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100, we let you know — because a print that needs designing, framing and posting can’t be arranged three days out.

It only goes out when we know the person’s birth year, and your normal reminder still arrives a few days before the day itself.

Never. Only you — the person who bought it — receives anything. We don’t collect your family’s email addresses at all, so there is nothing to send even by accident.

Sign in to your account page and edit the list directly: add someone, correct a spelling, change a date, or remove a name. Changes take effect straight away.

You can keep up to 30 people on a subscription, and they don’t all have to be on the poster — colleagues, godchildren and neighbours are welcome on the list even if they never made it onto the ring.

No. Signing in sends a code to your email address — the same account system Shopify uses for your order. There is no Kinring password to forget.

Only if you want them. The day and month are all a reminder needs. Adding the year lets the email say which birthday it is — “turns 40” rather than just the date — and it’s what makes the round-birthday heads-up possible.

Each poster’s reminders are managed separately on the same page, one card each, so a print you made for your partner’s side of the family stays its own list.

The names, birth dates and family connections from your poster, plus your email address. That’s stored on our own server in Europe — which is a real change from the poster itself, where your family’s details never leave your browser.

Cancel from your Shopify account page — the same place your billing lives — or use the link at the bottom of any reminder email. Cancelling stops the renewal and permanently deletes the stored names and birth dates.

Your poster is unaffected. It’s yours, printed and on your wall, and nothing about cancelling reaches back to it.

Add reminders@mail.kinringposter.com to your contacts when the confirmation arrives, and later emails will land in your inbox. If one goes missing, check your spam folder and drag it out — that teaches your mail provider to trust the rest.
