Terms of service

These terms form an agreement between you and Kinring (“Kinring”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of our website and any order you place. By using the site or buying a print, you agree to them.

What we provide

Kinring lets you design a personalised poster from your family’s birthdays and order it as a printed product. You don’t need an account; your design is kept in your browser until you buy.

Your content and responsibilities

You’re responsible for the details you enter and for having the right to use them. You agree the names and dates you provide are accurate and that you’re entitled to create a print featuring the people involved. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract to place an order.

You keep ownership of the personal details you provide. You grant us a limited licence to use them solely to generate, produce, and deliver your order, as described in our privacy policy.

Orders and pricing

Prices and options are shown at checkout, which is operated by Shopify. An order is confirmed once payment is authorised and you receive a confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if a product is mispriced due to an obvious error, or if an order appears fraudulent — and will refund any payment taken in that case.

Made to order

Products are personalised and produced on demand. Please review your preview carefully before buying. Cancellations, returns, and refunds are governed by our returns & refunds policy, and delivery by our shipping policy, both of which form part of these terms.

Intellectual property

The Kinring name, site, software, and design system are ours and protected by applicable law. You may not copy, resell, or commercially reproduce the artwork generator or use our brand without permission. The finished poster you buy is for your personal, non-commercial use.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the site to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or interfere with its operation or security. We may suspend access if you do.

Availability and “as is”

We work to keep the site running and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Colours on screen are an approximation and can vary slightly from the printed result.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. Disputes are subject to the courts that have jurisdiction under those rules.
